When Buffy is admitted to hospital with a raging fever she meets Ryan, a young boy who has the same flu virus and claims that the sick children in the hospital are being persecuted by a monster that may be death himself.

Giles: Cordelia, have you actually ever heard of tact?
Cordelia: Tact is just not saying true stuff. I'll pass.
Not much character development, average dialogue and a so-so plot.
But an attempt is made at a horror type show. And actually the Kinderstod is one of the creepier monsters in the series, even if he is a Freddy Krueger wannabe. Overall not really a bad MOTW episode, its just sandwiched between such powerful episodes that it feels less than it actually is.
Love the symmetry of both Buffy and Spike being laid up and in wheelchairs.
Foreshadowing
Giles: ..death and disease are the only things Buffy cannot fight.
